Hypnosis to Quit Vaping

Leave your first session a non-vaper with the I Used to Vape™ Vaping Cessation Program.

You vape, and as such, you may be having a rough time not only with the costs associated with vaping, but also the social stigma that vaping is not that much better than smoking.

Maybe quitting smoking was the reason you started vaping in the first place or you started because you thought it looked cool and your friends were doing it.

But now with the ever growing concerns of underage use causing possible bans, the health scares surrounding e-cigarette and vaporizer use, and the outbreak of lung diseases in hundreds of people, as well as several deaths that have also been linked to vaping, you wish to quit vaping for good.

But don’t worry, you have come to the right place!

  • Fact: The human brain is the last organ to fully develop, at around age 25.
  • Fact: Nicotine in e-cigarettes can harm brain development and lead to addiction in youth and young adults.
  • Fact: Scientists still have a lot to learn about whether e-cigarettes are effective for quitting smoking.
  • Fact: If you’ve never smoked or used other tobacco products or e-cigarettes, you shouldn't start.
  • Fact: The long term health effects of vaping are not yet fully known.
  • Fact: They aren't safe for youth, young adults, pregnant women, or adults who don't currently use tobacco products.
  • Fact: Users inhale an aerosol (produced by heating a liquid typically containing nicotine, flavorings, and other chemicals) into their lungs.
  • Fact: Bystanders can also breathe in this aerosol when the user exhales into the air. It is not just harmless water vapor.

While vape juices may not contain anywhere near as many chemicals as traditional cigarettes, they’re not 100% safe for you either. Not even close. As recent events further suggest. Nicotine is typically a main component of most vaping products.

  • Vaping is still bad for your health.
  • Nicotine raises your blood pressure and spikes your adrenaline, which increases your heart rate and the likelihood you will have a heart attack.
  • There are many unknowns about vaping, including what chemicals make up the vapor and how they affect physical health over the long term.
  • You’re exposing yourself to all kinds of chemicals that we don’t yet understand and that are probably not safe.
  • Electronic cigarettes are just as addictive as traditional ones.
  • It's easier to get a higher dose of nicotine as compared to a traditional cigarette.
  • Electronic cigarettes aren’t the best smoking cessation tool.
  • E-cigarettes have not received Food and Drug Administration approval as smoking cessation devices
  • A recent study found that most people who intended to use e-cigarettes to kick the nicotine habit ended up continuing to smoke both traditional and e-cigarettes.
  • A new generation is getting hooked on nicotine.

The average cost of vaping can be

You may be buying disposables, refillable pens requiring pods or whole systems requiring replacement coils, juice and so on.

All of this can add up and end up being just as expensive as traditional cigarettes, costing you anywhere from $50-$200 a month depending on how much you vape and which products you use.

Have you tried to stop vaping in the past or is this your first time?

If you have tried before and failed, you may feel like it’s pointless to try again, right?

But remember…

The little green guy from that very famous movie said it best, “Do or do not, there is no try. “

It’s true…

If all you ever do is try, then how can you possibly succeed?

Let Me Share a With You

Back in the '90s, there was an average guy very much like yourself just trying to make their way in the world.

However, in the latter half of the 90's he was introduced to cigarettes while hanging out with friends.

For years he had been adamant that he would never smoke, his parents used to smoke and it was many years before they had finally quit and he was proud of them for doing so, but on this day he let the pressure of his peers and his desire to fit in get the better of him.

He began lighting up his first cigarette, Regal King Size, the brand his parents used to smoke. It was a sweet taste that he wouldn't soon forget as the smoke swirled around his mouth and he began to cough, he felt excited and nervous at the same time and it wasn't long before he had trained his body to ignore the urge to cough and begin to enjoy this little white stick of poison.

He smoked for several years before he finally quit.

During that time he tried to quit multiple times, but smoking was more than just a habit or an addiction. Smoking made him feel accepted like he was one of the group and belonged, it gave him a sense of power and control, and being somewhat of a shy person it gave him a barrier between himself and the rest of the world.

Ultimately, smoking was more of a social activity that helped him bond with others, while also making him feel comfortable in situations he usually did not. So it wasn't until he learned to address these secondary gains and combined that with a strong desire to quit that he finally succeeded.

It took some time for him to reach his goals, he tried to figure things out by himself, which was slow and tedious. Trying all kinds of techniques to eliminate the triggers that prompted him to smoke, but always ending with him starting to smoke again.

Back then, the internet was still new to him, however, the wealth of information it gave him access to would become the key to his success.

He always had a strong feeling that your mind possesses the key to unlimited success, and that just like being able to modify a video game by figuring out the right coding, he thought there had to be a way to achieve this with the mind.

Having a keen interest in stage hypnotists/mentalists and the fascinating shows they would put on, people like Paul McKenna and Derren Brown, and the things people would do on stage while hypnotized, and what Derren would get people to do using nothing more than words, psychology and a little bit of manipulation of their surroundings, he was already familiar with the use of hypnosis to change the subconscious mind.

After a little research, he came across some simple hypnosis audio recordings, and this became a turning point in his life.

Fascinated by how it all worked he started using hypnotic recordings, this combined with a few small changes in his habits and with watching a successful ad campaign on TV demonstrating the damage smoking was doing to his arteries and other parts of his body, he was compelled to quit smoking, and for good this time.

Requiring a lot of time and effort, testing different things to see what was working for him and what wasn't, in a few short months, his desire to smoke had diminished, and he threw away his final pack of cigarettes, becoming a non-smoker.

As you have probably figured out by now, that guy was me, and whilst I used to smoke and not vape (It didn't exist back then) the concept is pretty much the same.

Since that day all those years ago I have had the opportunity to learn more about hypnosis from multiple professionals in the field of hypnosis, such as Dr. John G. Kappas, John Melton, Richard Nongard, Ken Dubner, Jason Linett, Scott Sandland, Gerald Kein, Igor Ledochowski, and many others.

In 2014 I earned my Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, a non-profit nationally accredited hypnosis training college and clinic of hypnotherapy.

I was fortunate to have access to the teachings of the late Dr. John G. Kappas, P.hD, the founder of HMI, especially his theory of E & P suggestibility and the Kappasinian method of hypnosis.

Learning how to hypnotize anyone, so I could succeed where others have failed, and allowing me to understand your problems, how they were learned and how best to go about eliminating them.

Combined with my desire to save others from the dangers of smoking I set about learning everything I could about the use of hypnosis for smoking cessation.

Studying the techniques of many hypnotists, such as John Melton, Igor Ledochowski, Richard Nongard, Jason Linett, Milton H. Erickson, Gerald Kein, Paul McKenna, and many others. I keep up on the latest techniques and research in this field.
